There are two types of carton board (cardboard) used for shipping and transporting products. One is called corrugated cardboard and the other one is called non-corrugated cardboard. The corrugated cardboard is stronger than the non-corrugated cardboard. The corrugated cardboard is the one you need to use for your delivery.
Before you send your package off for postage, check out this quick step-by-step guide on how to securely package your item in carton to protect it from damage during transport and delivery:
Step 1:Â
Determine the inside dimensions of the carton by measuring the length, the width and the depth.Â
Step 2:Â
Subtract the carton’s depth from the length and width to determine the available space.Â
Step 3:Â
If your item is larger than the available space, you may need to use multiple smaller boxes. If your item is the same size as the available space, you can use one larger box.Â
