Delivery Times
When you’re shopping around for a courier service to entrust with the delivery of your package, speed is oftentimes just as important as cost. Fast Courier understands this, which is why our quote tool tells provides you with detailed information about delivery times as well as shipping rates. This allows you to select a service that achieves the right balance between the two.
If you’re sending a package inside Australia, most of the companies in the Fast Courier network will have it delivered within a few days at a reasonable price. With that said, these companies also offer express delivery options, which are always included in the list of services generated by our quote tool. All we need from you is the weight and size of your package, along with its destination.
Express service
Most courier companies offer next day and even same day delivery. For example, Toll has a same day service for especially urgent shipments. There are three options:
- Standard: 3-4 hour delivery
- Express: 2-3 hour delivery from the time of booking
- Priority 1: Which puts your package at the very front of the queue
Direct Couriers has a similar priority service. Their Same Day Regular service guarantees delivery within 3-4 hours, while their Same Day Express service lowers the time to 1-2 hours and allows you to track your shipment using GPS. They also offer a Same Day Elite service, which delivers your package as quickly as possible by giving the job to the nearest driver.
International delivery times
To get an idea of how long it will take to deliver your package to another country, open the Fast Courier quote tool and enter the details of your package (weight, size and destination). You will be presented with a range of options from various courier services, including estimated delivery times.
Keep in mind that delivery time varies considerably depending on which country your package is going to. It is difficult to predict how long it will take for a package to pass through customs. Always make sure you are not sending something that is prohibited by the destination country.
