It's foolish, in my opinion to believe that Barrack being the president was going to help dissolve the tension between the races. Until WE as a race come together and stand as one, present ourselves to the world as a strong, powerful nation with our own government totally independent of any other nation, then we will always have race issues. Barrack being president is just covering it up. Peace The race issue never died, it isn't dissolving.
