- Gov. David A. Paterson will speak at the Democratic National Convention after all.
As recently as Tuesday morning, Mr. Paterson told reporters he would not be addressing the convention. And last week his aides said that the governor was not among those chosen to speak.
But the Democratic National Convention Committee said on Tuesday that Mr. Paterson has been invited to speak next Tuesday, when Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton will deliver the prime-time address.
