Vandals strike churches, library with racial slurs (FL)

- Vandals spray-painted satanic symbols and racial slurs on two African-American churches and a Brevard County library overnight Monday in Melbourne.
“Shock that someone would do this is the only thing we can say at this point,” said Estella Edwards, director of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Public Library in Melbourne.
When Edwards got to work at 8 a.m. Tuesday, she found the name James Earl Ray, the n-word and a swastika all painted in green letters on the building at 955 E. University Blvd. Ray was convicted of the 1968 assassination of King.
