- The Reno-Sparks branch of the NAACP has scheduled a news conference for Wednesday to protest discriminatory lending practices as part of the NAACP’s National Day of Action.
National City Corporation is among 17 of the nation’s largest lenders named as defendants in a class-action lawsuit filed by the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, said Lucille Adin, president of the local chapter.
