- After having the video of his controversial breakout single banned by YouTube, NY Oil found some assistance from an unlikely source for an animated version of the song.
“That animated version was produced by BET,” he revealed during an interview with HipHopDX. “Of all people to do a video for ‘Y’all Should All Get Lynched’, that BET would opt to do it’s really bugged out.”
The song and original accompanying video sent shockwaves through several Internet communities with its pointed subject matter including lines such as “All y’all coon ass rappers, y’all should all get lynched” over a backdrop featuring several mainstream rappers including Cam’ron and The Game mixed with images of actual lynchings of African Americans.
