The RNC will affirm the elections of both McCall and Butler at a September meeting.

“There has been no leader in our party during my time as chairman who has been more passionate or authentic than Glenn McCall in living out the conservative ideals we hold dear. As an Air Force veteran, successful businessman and York County Republican Party Chairman, Glenn’s record of leadership and experience embodies an unwavering lifetime commitment to service. I have great confidence in Glenn’s ability to make a real impact on our national party beginning on day one,” said South Carolina Republican Party chairman Katon Dawson.
