- A Norfolk nightclub is accused of selectively serving certain customers. Club Sevens is located downtown on Granby Street. Former employees of the club say they were subjected to racial name calling and were told to favor certain clientele.
Former employees, Randy Dubose and Phil Peters both say the owners had a particular group they did not want to cater to. They say the owners held staff meeting on how they could get more white clientele in their club and weed out the blacks. Phil, a former general manager at the club says their was an irregular dress code that was often stricter for black males. Phil and Randy both say in the meetings the owners would “specifically addressed to changing the clientele to keep the ghetto asses and black asses out”.
