RushmoreDrive.com, online search community geared towards African-Americans launches April 10

RushmoreDrive.com, a collaboration between Black Web Enterprises (BWE) and IAC, one of the largest internet service companies launched today, April 10.  RushmoreDrive.com combines typical search experience results matched with content geared towards the African-American community.  “Finally, Black people across the country have a search engine that is shaped by the interests and usage of the Black community,” says RushmoreDrive.com President and CEO, Johnny Taylor.

Site contributors include popular blogger Faye Anderson, author and political analyst Keli Goff,  radio broadcaster Rob Parker.  RushmoreDrive.com has also established community partnerships with several organizations including the National Alliance of Black School Educators,  Thurgood Marshall College Fund,  National Association of African-Americans in Human Resources and the National Urban League.  “At the National Urban League, it has always been our mission to empower African Americans both economically and socially. RushmoreDrive.com does just that, by giving the Black community the tools to tap into news, job information and overall search results, most relevant to them,” says National Urban League President Marc Morial.
